Lost without it & LSNED layout

I was lost without it today, I was out of the house and hadn't a clue what time it was, didn't know what shopping I wanted and generally felt wrong without it, and yet 10 years ago, or may be less, I didn't have one and never thought I would need one.

What am I talking about? Why my mobile phone.

How quickly this little piece of technology has become an essential part of all, or at least most, of our lives. Trouble is we rely on it for much more that just being able to ring a number. So here is my lament for today

When your mobile is more than just a phone,
and you put it on charge, and leave it alone,
you discover too late, when halfway to town
you search in your bag and it cannot be found,
you don't know the time or what you want from the shop
you can't phone a friend, you're caught on the hop.
All because you rely on your phone
which you have mistakenly left at home

I keep mine in my bra LOL! Causes great hilarity fishing it out on public places. I can feel it vibrate if it is on silent, a bonus when in meetings or teaching!
I learnt to my dismay that chlorine & mobile circuitry do not make good bedfellows when I once left it inside the bra part of my swimsuit whilst doing aqua aerobics LOL!

How true is that Mary, we do tend to rely on things more so in this day and age! Love the phone character!

So true! I don't know what I'd do without my phone - especially as I get my emails delivered to it as well :-)

Another great page for LSNED Mary :)

A place for me to put the pictures of layouts I have done that I am pleased with, to put in the poems I write and to add snippets of things that have caught my eye
