Good afternoon Bloggers, I have been sitting/standing in my conservatory scrapping as usual. I really wanted to make a start on the kit I have created for May, and as I have quite a selection of photos from yesterday I decided to do a double page.
I am on a stash diet as best I can as I have so much and now that I have done a lot of sorting I know what I have and where it is, which makes doing a page or two or three much easier.
Saying all that I did buy some the other day, I found a pack of kraft card from Papermania 5 sheets each of plain, graph, lined and ledger very useful and a reasonable price too.
So without any more rambling her is the double page for today
I have been rather taken with the little pin flags that seem to be popping up everywhere at the moment so being on a stash diet I made my own. I had some rather naff pins that were not to my liking at all so I cut the tops off and using pattern paper I stuck the pins in the centre and used double sided tape to sandwich it in. Next time I may well use an ordinary pin in the top so it actually has more of the appearance of a flag pole.
I'm not only on a stash diet I'm trying to eat more sensibly as I would love to loose some weight before I go on holiday so what to have instead of sweet biscuits, well my remaining banana was a bit over ripe so adding milk I whisked it up and made a milkshake delicious and better by far than biscuits. Just had to take a photo of me drinking it :D
Today I am thankful for the weather getting warmer
for finding a good texture to make a stamp with
for fun making up my kit for the month

Great double layout, I've got that papermania kraft pack too and I like the darker shade of it. Your flags look very pretty. x
Fab pages Mary - love your flags!
I love the sound of that Kraft pack - I think I might have to hunt that one out! You really have made the most of your lovely pictures with it
great multiphoto layout and the pins are super cute!
Oh, I so like double spread layouts because I find them so challenging. These pages are fab! Love the little flags.
