A weekend away

I back, I'm on line, I've pages to share.
10 of us went to Foxham for a weekend of scrapbooking and chatting and having fun.
I managed to do 5 layouts a minibook and Shirley's wonderful messy play class that lasted all day Saturday. It was a great weekend, but I failed to take many photos, just shows that the only reason I normally do is because I spend so much time alone.
Still I did manage to get a photo each day.
Friday's photo is of the room we scrapped in a large conservatory
as well as this space there was a kitchen diner a large lounge and another conservatory on the back.
4 double bedrooms, 2 with en suites and a huge and I mean huge bathroom downstairs and one up in the converted attic. Plenty of room for us all.
Saturday I woke early as usual and this was the scene that greeted me a real promise of a lovely day

We had a meal out on Saturday evening really nice food and atmosphere, but rather noisy.

Sunday a great day scrapping and a minibook class, nice easy one to do that looks stylish.

Kathy went outside for a smoke and suddenly poked her head in and said there was a mouse or vole or something in the grass I grabbed my camera and found this
poor little thing I'm sure he is a youngster and looked completely lost. going round and round trying to find a safe place to be.

Home again at just before 11 this morning and I have still not unpacked completely but I did fill my minibook with photos

Here is a couple of the layouts, I'll share the others another day.
Cafe Capers
Concentration

the only drawback to the weekend is sleeping, the bed was rather hard and the duvet didn't stay in place so my photo for today is my own comfy bed which I am looking forward to falling into tonight.

Sounds like you have had a lovely weekend. I love the cafe capers layout - the design and the soft colours.

Great mini book and lovely place to spend a weekend!

A place for me to put the pictures of layouts I have done that I am pleased with, to put in the poems I write and to add snippets of things that have caught my eye
