Ooh, oooh, oooh... my friend just came back from Britain today and brought crumpets so I had my very first crumpet (with strawberry jam) this morning with my tea. Yum! How timely is this post?

Love crumpets. Never tried them with mushrooms though. Usually have cream cheese on mine. Think I will have to go and buy some now!!

I love my crumpets with honey - my husband has them with the Asutralian curse ... vegemite, that is sacriledge!
