A day out

Decisions decisions where shall I go Cirencester or Cheltenham which shall be my goal
Cheltenham
was the one I chose
DSCF2829
Nearly 2 hours on the bus through little villages and lanes. Cricklade is first, as seen from the bus

Latton, south Cerney, Siddington then on to Cirencester where we stop for a while.

Out in the sticks again, pouring with rain.

Speeding along now no stops till Cheltenham.
DSCF2874
Lots of architecture lots to see

Coffee in Starbucks just right for me
DSCF2917
wondering around what can I find? Just of the main Road a strange sign
DSCF2923
and then a lovely old church so peaceful
DSCF2927
there with old weather and worn grave stones not very clear
One caught my eye perhaps the reason for the sign.
DSCF2931
Clock face on the church steeple green with verdigris.
DSCF2939
Into Beeches Arcade where more photos I take

DSCF2958
DSCF2959
love this mirror

then into Regent Arcade to see the fish clock.
DSCF2974
just in time for the clock to come to life blowing bubbles
DSCF3039
sit and eat lunch

Then hurry back for the bus, a double decker this time so upstairs is a must.
I have a front seat, couldn't be better so more photos are taken on the way back.

Mary love your photos today - looks like a great day out. Wish I lived nearer as I could have joined you for the day for photos and especially for the Starbucks (I spotted my ultimate favourite cinnamon swirl)

Super photos Mary - the clock looks amazing. I take it Cheltenham has horse sculptures everywhere, like Chester's rhinos, Skipton's sheep etc

Just catching up on your blog Mary. Love all your nature photos, and especially all the ones from Cheltenham - glad you've had a great day out, where will your bus pass take you next?

A place for me to put the pictures of layouts I have done that I am pleased with, to put in the poems I write and to add snippets of things that have caught my eye
