Nature's Calendar - wall Planting

This is part of this amazing wall planting, which I doubt if many people notice.

It is on the walkway from one side of the Brunel centre to the other.
I think the only reason I noticed it is because I happened to come along there one day when they were doing it.

I'm still not sure if it is completely new or whether they were replanting

Nature's calendar - tiny green/orange flower

You would imagine that at this time of the year it would be much easier to find things in nature to photograph, but I am struggling.
still determined to carry on I really don't want to give up on this.

Nature's Calendar - Town Planting

As you get off the bus in the centre of town, there is a flight of steps that take you down to pass under the road. These steps have been planted with some lovely plants, well mature now and at this time of the year really make the town sparkle.

Catching up

Oh dear, I have been awol for so long, really not able to juggle all the balls I am trying to keep in the air.
I haven't been scrapping much either but this weekend we had a mini cyber crop so I have some layouts to share and also a shadow box (well that's what they used to be called, not sure what they are called now)
Shadow box first as I have only just finished it.
Heart of the Home shadow box
This is a class by Sarah (Smelly on UKS) (unfortunately she doesn't seem to have put it on her blog yet)
This has been made from a canvas using the reverse so you get the box the dividers are chipboard slotted together then the whole thing is sprayed, I found that the only thing that would stick to the spray paint was double sided carpet tape.
All the bits and bobs I've used on the shelves are just sitting there so if I want to I can change them.

By the end of the weekend I was beginning to flag and my neck was aching so these last two I did on the computer.

Congratulations

My middle grandson (my son's boy) seems to feature quite a lot in my pages, he is such a cheeky little lad and love to have his photo taken but doesn't really sit or stay still long enough.

I've been trying to identify this beetle but I can't find it in any of the books I have and the internet is not very helpful either.

Nature's Calendar - Sparrow having a bath

I was doing some scrapbooking in the conservatory and looked up to see this little sparrow enjoying a bath. So glad I keep my camera handy. I had to take these through the window didn't dare open the door it would have scared him off.

Nature's Calendar - Beetle

This little creature landed on the strap of my camera case, so of course he had to be photographed.

Nature's Calendar - Water reeds

Even a small pond can look spectacular when seen through the water reeds. This one is right next to Asda and gets a lot of rubbish thrown in and around it, but with careful positioning I can usually manage to get a photo without any of the 'lout' made additions

Nature's Calendar - tiny pink flowers

I don't know what this bush is - cultivated one hanging over a fence of one of the gardens along the lane. Can anyone identify it? flowers are only about half inch in diameter and a lot in each cluster.
A place for me to put the pictures of layouts I have done that I am pleased with, to put in the poems I write and to add snippets of things that have caught my eye
